Previous Professional Project: Battlefield V : Firestorm

This was an amazing opportunity to once again work with the Dice team in Stockholm, on a project that made a nice change to all the other work we had been doing around that time.

I was pretty busy on other projects but got an opportunity to spend a few months developing a large amount of the backdrop around the map. I was directly involved with a great deal of terrain sculpting and set dressing in areas you see all over the map including the area you see below:

Previous Professional Project: Need For Speed Heat

This is a very exciting project and it is always brilliant to work on an NFS title. Creating racing game open worlds is a hell of a challenge, especially when there are urban settings while travelling at more than 200mph! I personally also provided a great deal of the backdrop scenery, worked on skyboxes and visual effects and a bunch of world dressing. A rare treat these days in my carrier. What a ride this was, helping the team in Gothenburg providing world briefs and environment direction representing locations based in Miami all the way up to North Georgia. Towards the end of the project our team got involved and helped see the world through to completion.

Previous Professional Project: Star Wars Battlefront II : Starfighter Assault

This was an amazing opportunity to create a thrilling Speeder Bike experience using the fantastic assets from the Dice team.

My responsibility as lead art was to take a design and construct a 6 mile long track that is as risky, thrilling and fun as possible, while maintaining the visual quality found on the other Battlefront levels. It feels crazy fast in first person!

Previous Professional Project: A Star Wars Battlefront VR Experience

The whole team learned a lot whilst making our first AAA VR experience. There are so many things to consider when making a rewarding, yet not overwhelming experience. I developed the method for rendering all those asteroids in VR @ 60fps, level art for the asteroid level and hangar start location.

Ghost studio's had just spun up and they where a really new team taking on a huge challenge for the first time. I was handed the responsibility of lead world artist to get them up to speed with building an open world driving game and developed many of the tracks in coastal, winery and redwood areas. Previous Professional Project: Battlefield Hardline episode:10

The last level in the Battlefield Hardline game was given to me to art direct and take to completion. Consisting of an open world island setting with a mansion at the end, it had plenty of technical challenges as it was nothing like the other levels in the game and we didn't have much time to do it!

Need for Speed Most Wanted was the first project where I took on a huge amount of responsibility as a lead and I put a lot of energy and passion into it. Joing the last two thirds of the production, we were behind but desporate not to compromise on delivering a fantastic visceral street racing experience.
